Got a new wheel or downloaded an existing build and need to configure all the TeknoParrot driving games?
This detailed video from YouTuber, and friend of Retro Racing Lunatics, Kris Coolmod shows you how to search and replace the JoystickGuid code instead of configuring each game with your wheel. The JoystickGuid is embedded in all UserProfile xml files and can be updated using the feature-rich Notepad ++ text editor.
Note that it doesn't change the button assignments, so you may still have to do those manually as they can vary between wheel types/brands.

If you have a lot of games, manually remapping Teknoparrot settings can be a pain. In this video, we will show you a simple fix so you don't have to remap drive letters when you move libraries. Peter's video will help those moving Teknoparrot games/libraries from one drive to another, including any in your builds like LaunchBox. e.g. moving from R: drive to say E: drive
Note: You can also utilise Notepad ++ to do a bulk search and replace if you have large Teknoparrot libraries.

Thanks to YouTuber and friend of LGL, TKS Sitch Gaming, this how-to guide shows you how to map your controllers using the CTRLR file.
This will prevent MAME from reconfiguring your controls and changing controller order upon reboot or when plugging in new devices. It only covers the basics of what you need to know but is relevant to both wheels and hand-held controllers.

Having trouble configuring your Thrustmaster T80 wheel?
Maybe it's in the wrong mode so try this quick fix when plugging in your USB cable so that it switches the wheel to analogue mode.

Thanks to YouTuber Honest Rob, this 3 minute video explains that the deadzone in MAME by default is set too high when using a Racing Wheel (causing gameplay issues). Luckily it is super easy and fast to fix!

Thanks to Shawn from Retro Racing Lunatics, we have a handy MAME setup guide for Logitech wheels. This shows how to configure a Logitech G29, however the process applies for all wheels.

This version of the game (link below) not only gives you the original file to point Teknoparrot to ("abc org" via disk1) but also other versions for higher scale. The Patreon version uses Elf2 graphics enhancements etc. If you want full scale and no messed up HUD, have a look at the PS3 version.

Set up multiple emulated Daytona's on one PC!
Full link play with the ability to run up to 8 emulated versions! Daaaaayyyytoooonaaaaaa!
Configuring them was pretty easy using the m2 emulator. On each machine you just set each IP address in the ini file and then each ROM has an options screen to set one as master and the other as slave. Most of the Sega titles are networked the same, so you only need to set the ini files up once for all the Model 2 games.

A first look at Jess' Sega Strike Fighter he picked up as a non-working project.
His plan is to use the cabinet, existing controls and wiring harness to create a multi-game arcade cabinet that will play all flight games. Keep an eye out for further updates with this great addition to his massive gameroom collection.
